We are happy to offer our self-built straw bale and adobe home and guest rooms as a healthy and relaxing get-away Each morning we provide a sumptuous continental breakfast of fresh fruit, baked goods, yogurt, bagels with an assortment of spreads, including many organic foods. We offer dairy and sugar alternatives. We are a non-smoking establishment.
Our desire was to create an environmentally safe haven on our four acres for ourselves and to share with others. Only non-toxic cleaning and laundry supplies are used. There is no use of pesticides or herbicides on the property.
D and D's Organic Haven, just south of Glenwood, New Mexico, is equidistant between Tucson, El Paso, Phoenix and Albuquerque, in the San Francisco River Valley and amidst the Gila National Forest. Our community is a gateway to the incredible 600,000 acre Gila Wilderness, the first U.S. wilderness established in 1924 through the efforts of Aldo Leopold.
