Find us in southwestern New Mexico, an easy 60 miles north of Silver City off US Hwy 180.
D and D's Organic Haven delights in treating our guests to a simple, retreat-like atmosphere. We now offer three guest rooms. The original guest wing with its two rooms and a full size shared bath, and now an additional large master suite with its own bath and king size bed. All with private entrances.
Established in 2008, we are non-smoking and fragrance-free.
Our desire was to create an environmentally safe haven on our property for ourselves and to share with others. Only unscented, non-toxic laundry and cleaning supplies are used. Our many gardens and property care are managed organically.
We are happy to offer our self-built straw bale and adobe home and guest rooms as a healthy and relaxing get-away Each morning we provide a sumptuous full breakfast featuring home grown produce, our fresh eggs and many other organic foods, including fresh fruit and baked goods. We offer dairy and sugar alternatives and also cater to gluten-free diet needs.
D and D's Organic Haven, just south of Glenwood, New Mexico, is equidistant between Tucson, El Paso, Phoenix and Albuquerque, in the San Francisco River Valley and amidst the Gila National Forest. Our community is a gateway to the incredible 600,000 acre Gila Wilderness; the first U.S. wilderness established in 1924 through the efforts of Aldo Leopold and President Theodore Roosevelt.
Come enjoy our many day hikes, several of them are in the riparian areas. Glenwood offers superb birding, too. The night skies are dark and beautiful for star gazing. Our nights and early mornings are always cool and refreshing.
We look forward to sharing all this with you!
